Sarah Islam
Sarah Islam will serve as Scholar-in-Residence for KARAMAH, where she will work mainly with issues relating to Islamic Law and jurisprudence. A graduate of Princeton University with an M.A. in Near Eastern Studies, where she was awarded the Liman Fellowship for Public Service from Yale Law School/Princeton Law, her areas of expertise include Islamic Family Law, Gender Studies, and Women’s Social Movements. She is fluent in English, Arabic, and Bengali.
